General Information

  • This trainer is a professional three-component fiber optics kit comprising a high speed 850nm LED, a matching high performance PIN photodiode and a 2 meter 62-51125 micron graded index multimode glass fiber simplex cable, terminated with SMA(905) connectors.
  • This kit facilitates experimenters and users to design a variety of fiber optics systems on their own.
  • The kit can also be employed effectively to develop several professional FO products.
  • All inputs required for the design of a simple analog and digital transmission system are covered in the Manual including the specifications of the optical and optoelectronic components used.
  • Bandwidth of over 100 MHz are achieved with this kit using appropriate support electronic devices.

Simplex Cable Patchcord with GI-MM Fiber Used in our Trainer

  • The simplex cable with the 62.51125 graded index multimode fiber finds application for medium distance analogue (intensity modulated) and digital signal transmission upto a few hundred MHz.
  • The all-glass fiber has a tight buffer construction and is reinforced with Caviar Yarn.
